Undermine.Life is designed to give you space, not take your data. No ads, no third-party trackers, and no selling your personal information.
Guest mode: 100% private to your device
By default, you can use Undermine.Life completely anonymously without an account. All your reflection answers, practice history, and scores are stored exclusively in your browser's local IndexedDB. We cannot view, access, or restore this data. Clearing your browser data immediately erases everything.
Optional accounts & email-code sign in
If you choose to synchronize your habits across devices, you can sign in with your email. We do not use passwords. Instead, we send a secure 6-digit one-time passcode (OTP) that expires after 5 minutes and is limited to 5 attempts. Email addresses are hashed in rate-limiting keys.
Zero ads, zero data sales, no AI training
We do not sell, rent, or monetize your personal information or reflection responses under any circumstances. We do not use your habit entries or Undermine Scores to train artificial intelligence models or generate algorithmic behavioral profiles.
Infrastructure & service processors
To run the application reliably, we work with a minimal set of privacy-focused service providers: Vercel for website hosting and serverless execution, PostgreSQL (with TLS encryption in transit and encryption at rest) for storing authenticated account progress, and Resend for delivering sign-in OTP emails.
Your rights: Instant export and complete deletion
You retain full ownership of your data. At any time in Settings, you can download a full, unencrypted JSON copy of your entire history. You can also permanently delete your account with a single click, which cascades and permanently removes your record from our live database.
